The latest edition to the renowned Call of Duty franchise is set to be released on the 03rd November 2017 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. The game is developed by Sledgehammer Games, who have prompted the game as being an authentic and gritty view on the Second World War, and is expectedly going to give us a fresh experience from the previously modern and futuristic warfare content produced over the past years.
Call of Duty: WWII follows the United States 1st Infantry Division campaigning through the European theatre of war, where you will experience the story through the eyes of Private Daniels. Missions include the D-Day invasion of Normandy and Battle of the Bulge. There will be a Nazi Zombie cooperative campaign, a multiplayer Axis vs. Allies game mode, and possibly other content that has yet to be confirmed.
Additionally, Activision have confirmed that a beta is available in advance to the release date for those that have pre-purchased the game, but dates for the beta launch have yet to be confirmed.
